Celebrity Cruises

Cruise Style: Premium

Somewhere between "mass-market" and "upscale/luxury" you will find Celebrity Cruises. This sister company to Royal Caribbean is sort of a hidden treasure in the cruise industry. Celebrity Cruises offers classy ships, professional service and award-winning cuisine in a stylish European-flavored atmosphere are hallmarks of Celebrity Cruises. With top-quality entertainment at prices that rival the less expensive cruise lines.

Other signature amenities include a cigar club, Martini bar, large standard staterooms with generous storage, fully equipped spas on the newest vessels, and butler service for passengers booking the top suites. Multimillion-dollar private art collections grace the entire fleet.

Special Features

Aside from the sophisticated ambiance, the cuisine designed by master chef Michel Roux is reason enough to cruise on a Celebrity ship. Roux creates the menus personally and oversees all aspects of dining operations. Alternative restaurants on the Millennium, Infinity, and Summit are a gourmet experience in classic ocean liner splendor.

Little touches of elegance give Celebrity Cruises' guests a taste of the experience typically found on the upscale/luxury cruise lines costing five times as much. White gloved waiters carry your tray from the buffet line to your table. Butler service available in suite accommodations includes packing and unpacking service. If you love to cruise on a big modern ship, but want a quieter, more elegant experience, then Celebrity is an excellent choice.

Whatever your fancy, we're here to make it come true. Celebrity Cruises' famous personal service with a taste of luxury will make you feel like the only guest on board.

Formal attire is required for select evenings.

Recommended For

Middle to upper-middle income travelers in their 40s and up, whether on their first or tenth cruise, who appreciate good service and cuisine and want the recreational and entertainment variety of a large ship at an easy pace.

Highlights:

Your Shipmates

The Celebrity clientele tends to lean more toward the American cruise passengers 40 and up crowd and you won't typically find as many families with small children on board as you would on say Carnival or Royal Caribbean primarily couples ranging from their mid-30's to mid-50's. Many families enjoy cruising on Celebrity's fleet during summer months and holiday periods, particularly in the Caribbean and Bermuda, although Alaska is becoming a popular destination for all ages. Lengthier cruises and exotic itineraries attract passengers in the over-60 age group.

Junior Cruisers

Each Celebrity vessel has a dedicated playroom and a program of age appropriate activities designed for children aged 3 to 17. Mercury, Galaxy, and Century have teen discos and coke-tail and pizza parties. Evening babysitting can be arranged. The lack of self-service laundry facilities is a drawback for families.

Setting the Standard

Maybe it's the fact that you're greeted by name. Perhaps it's because you merely mentioned a favorite dessert and it appears without your asking. As you cool off with chilled towels upon your return from a shore excursion, you just know something is different aboard a Celebrity Cruise.

With one staff member for every two guests, Celebrity Cruises' personal service anticipates your every need. In your stateroom, outside by the pool, in the AquaSpa®, anywhere at all, at anytime, our onboard family goes the extra mile to ensure every aspect of your cruise is just the way you want it.
